Location
The family-friendly 4-star Hotel Sommerhof is located approx. 400 m from the valley station of the Hornspitz Express I (Dachstein West). The village center of Gosau is about 2 km away. A ski bus stop and the entrance to the cross-country ski trail are right next to the hotel.Facilities
The general facilities of the family-run accommodation include a reception with reception area, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and lounge. Free parking is available at the hotel, subject to availability.The spa area (see local information for opening times) has a heated outdoor pool with indoor access, outdoor jacuzzi, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, sanarium, children's sauna and loungers. Massages are available on request on site (for a fee).
A spacious play paradise is available for children and teenagers. The approx. 1,000 m² indoor area with four rooms offers table football, billiards, ball pool, soft play area, climbing wall and handicraft station (some offers for a fee).
The hotel's ski depot is located directly at the Hornspitz Express I valley station. From 8:000:00 to 17:00:00, guests can use their room card to gain access and store their equipment free of charge (see information on site).
Board
The half-board included in the holiday price includes a breakfast buffet with regional products. Dinner is served as a buffet or as a 4-course menu with salad buffet. There is also a daily children's buffet or children's menu. Vegan and vegetarian products are available, and lactose-free and gluten-free dishes can be prepared on request.
