Location and facilities
The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Restaurant Giessenbach is located in a quiet area at the edge of Fügen, approx. 1.5 km away from the centre and about 2.4 km away from the "Spieljochbahn" lift. The centre of Uderns can be reached after about 800 m. The approx. 4 km distant Hochzillertal ski area can be comfortably reached with the ski bus, of which stops right in front of the hotel. The Kapfing train station is located about 200 m away.The comfortable hotel has a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, lounge, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and ski cellar with boot warmers. Parking spaces can be used for free upon availability.
Board
The already included half board PLUS consists of a high-quality breakfast buffet with home-made delicacies and regional products, coffee and cake in the afternoon (15:00-17:00) as well as a 4-course evening meal with salad, appetisers and dessert in a buffet form. Special dietary cuisine, vegetarian cuisine, gluten-free cuisine and lactose-free cuisine is also available per request. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, special festive menus are prepared for you and also included in the price.The restaurant "Giessenbach" is closed on Sundays, so as an alternative for that evening, you will receive a voucher for a 4-course evening meal at the restaurant "Almdiele" (approx. 500 m away).
When staying in the family rooms, you have the option to make use of the eat-in kitchen (for a fee) with ceramic hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and toaster.
