Location

The comfortable 4-star Hotel Dachstein is located approx. 100 m from the centre of Filzmoos. The valley station of the Papageno lift is around 500 m away and the Grossberg lift is around 750 m away (Filzmoos/Ski amadé ski area). The entrance to the nearest cross-country ski trail and a toboggan run are also around 500 metres away.

Facilities

The general facilities of the accommodation include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, lounge, bar and a ski cellar. Free parking spaces are available at the accommodation. A charging station for electric cars can also be used (for a fee).

The hotel also has a spa area with Finnish sauna, eucalyptus aroma steam bath, sanarium with various aromas, tea bar, revitalising shower and a relaxation room with relaxation loungers. A solarium is also available (for a fee).

As a guest of the hotel, you also receive the Filzmoos Card, which allows you to use public transport free of charge and offers further discounts in the region (information subject to change, see information on site).

Board

The gourmet half-board included in the holiday price includes a rich breakfast buffet with regional products and a 6-course menu with salad and raw food buffet in the evening. Once a week there is a gala dinner and an Austrian speciality evening. Vegetarian alternatives are available. The preparation of gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan dishes as well as dietary meals can be requested. The hotel's head chef has been recognised by the Michelin Hotel Guide and spoils guests with selected ingredients.

Important notes

  • Children aged 5 or under do not receive a lift pass voucher. Use of the lifts is free of charge for children in this age group when accompanied by an adult. If your child uses the lifts independently or attends ski lessons, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site. The same applies to the use of ski lifts in other ski areas.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 – 05/04/2026 – Children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass for 6 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 6 days or more for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.   • Ski lesson slots must be pre-booked for all weeks in February.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
