Ski area Silvretta Montafon

The multiple award-winning "Silvretta Montafon" ski area is the largest in the Montafon with a total of 140 kilometres of slopes (incl. ski routes). "Silvretta Montafon" was created in 2008 from the ski areas Silvretta Nova on the left side of the valley near St. Gallenkirch, Gaschurn and Hochjoch on the right side of the valley near Schruns, Silbertal. Perfect piste conditions and a high degree of snow reliability make a holiday in this area a great experience.

Thanks to the balanced division into blue, red and black pistes, everyone will find the right run here: beginners can enjoy the longest piste in the ski area (Schwarzköpfle - Valisera Tal - St. Gallenkirch), which covers a difference in altitude of 1,400 m over a length of 14 km. The 2 km long "Piste 44", on the other hand, is reserved for the pros.

Secured deep snow and freeride areas also offer plenty of variety off-piste - for example in the popular area on the Hochjoch - easily accessible! A highlight for freestylers is the Snowpark Montafon. For this, the former 780 m long Funpark Nova Park was moved to the Grasjoch and considerably expanded.

The ski area is particularly suitable for "experts" and "freeriders". Under the motto "BlackScorpions - fancy a little cold sweat?" you can experience the seven most difficult and steepest runs here, which are guaranteed not for the faint-hearted!

Furthermore, a speed measurement track and a public race track with timekeeping are waiting for you to record your personal best performances.

With the extended Montafon Brandnertal lift pass, skiers and snowboarders can even ski a total of 297 kilometres of pistes.

Après ski Feldkirch (Klostertal)

Feldkirch, which lies to the west of Austria, is a town to savour. The second-largest town in Vorarlberg is simultaneously the oldest town with medieval architecture and presents itself as multifaceted. The charming small town is filled with a holiday atmosphere, whether this be during walks through untouched nature, whilst shopping and a stroll through Feldkirch's historic district, or whilst skating on the ice skating rink. The food is also diverse in Feldkirch. Whether local or international cuisine, everyone will find their favourite place to dine in this Montfort town. All those who still like to go out in the evening have no reason to worry either: with a wide selection of bars, pubs, cafés, discos and nightclubs, party-goers will also get their money's worth! Those who like to experience the typical, funky après-ski should not miss a trip to nearby St. Anton.

Snowpark: Montafon Feldkirch (Klostertal)

Montafon is one of the larger ski regions in Vorarlberg and therefore a perfect holiday destination for all ambitious skiers. In addition to numerous freeride options, a snow park awaits you here, offering riders of the most diverse riding levels opportunities to let off steam. The "Snowpark Montafon", located at the Fredakopf lift, was newly built in April 2012 and has been impressing with brand new obstacles and an exciting setup ever since. A total of 40 different obstacles, which are shaped every day by a team of several people, allow for a wide range of moves and jumps.

Variously sized kickers, rails, jibs, boxes, hips and wallrides as well as the newly built Freda track, a kind of funslope and Austria's first freeridecross with a wide variety of obstacles leave nothing to be desired and invite you to give your creativity free rein. A chill-out area also offers space to relax and exchange ideas with good music after a strenuous day.

Regular competitions and events also invite interested spectators to great shows.
