Ski area Präbichl
The ski area Präbichl is one of the most popular areas in eastern Austria and has been awarded on various occasions for its snow-making system. The area is only a few minutes away by car from the resort Eisenerz offers approx. 20 km of family-friendly pistes between 1,100 and 1,800 m altitude. On the "Purzelwiese", children and beginners can practise their first swings on snow, however the activity run through the "Schlumpfenwald" (smurf forest) is even great fun for adults. Experts can enjoy themselves on numerous freeride runs at the Polster (1,911 m). The best-known ski rout there is the "Polsterrinne", one of the steepest routes in the Eastern Alps. For those looking for a bit less of an adrenaline rush, there is the 660 m long fun slope with waves and steep curves, or you can try the FIS racing track, where there is also the possibility for companies, groups or clubs to have internal races organised. In general, the ski area Präbichl is a small, but very diverse family ski area.
Après ski Eisenerz
Apart from the pistes at Präbichl, the surrounding areas of Eisenerz offers numerous leisure time activities. Surely the main attraction is the Erzberg, where visitors can use the "Katl", an old team train, to get into the visitors mine and get to know everything about the formal ore mining.
Nearby Eisenerzer Ramsau has many opportunities for winter sports fans. A biathlon range with 18 shooting ranges and several training tracks will make hobby biathletes happy. Fans of tobogganing will find suitable slopes at Erzberger Ramsau as well as a 1.2 km prepared toboggan run at Präbichl that you can use until approx. 22:00 in the evening. A cute ice skating rink in Tull, a distric of Eisenerz, is popular among young and old, and the Vitalbad Eisenerz with several saunas and a pool landscape invite to relax.
For its size, Eisenerz has a good selection of inns, restaurants and cafés, so that your well-being is guaranteed both in the afternoon as well as the evening. Active sports players best end their day with a cosy get-together in one of the bars or stylish wine parlours.

Snowpark: Funslope Eisenerz
At Präbichl, a diverse funslope awaits all new freestylers and those who are bored on regular pistes. It comprises various elements, so that even skilled ski acrobats will get their money's worth. You start as a 5 m long rainbow butter box and then pass a wave run, a banked run and two kickers. Like this, freeskiers can catch some fresh mountain air. After a few more little jumps and waves, a spiral with short tunnel which is also suited for little skiers, mark the end of the funslope.
