Location

The 4-star Landhotel Römerhof is located approx. 50 m away from the centre of Dorfgastein. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the mountain railway approx. 600 m away. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 300 m. Ski buses stop right at the door.

Facilities

The accommodation comprises a main building and a side building, which are approx. 30 metres apart. The lovingly furnished hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, an internet corner, a lift, a breakfast room, the hotel’s own restaurant, a parlour, a hotel bar and a wine cellar. You also have the option of using an iPad in the reception area. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On site, there are parking spaces and a charging point for electric vehicles (for a fee – subject to availability).

Spa

The 350 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. Your accommodation features an indoor pool with a counter-current system. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna, a whirlpool, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. A solarium as well as massages are available for a fee. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe on a loan basis.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. Cots are provided for a fee, baby monitors and high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Sports facilities and activities at the hotel include a gym and table tennis.

Board

When booking rooms with the ‘Half-board PLUS’ board plan, meals include a generous, regional gourmet breakfast featuring sweet and savoury options, a variety of bread rolls, egg dishes and a welcome cocktail. Afternoon board (3.00 pm – 5.00 pm) includes a snack. In the evening, you’ll be served a 4-course set menu of your choice with a salad bar, a selection of gourmet menus or various themed evenings.

On Christmas Eve (24 December), a 5-course gala dinner will be served, and on New Year’s Eve, a 6-course gala dinner with live music and a midnight snack. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available

on request.

Important notes

• Meals are served in the main building.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 15 km away).
• Accommodation may take place in both parts of the building.
• No lift pass voucher will be issued for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure); they may ski free of charge when accompanied by their parents on the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area and the Rauchleiten platter lift. If your child is to use the lifts independently, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site.
• Family Spring Deals: 13/03/2027 until the end of the season – children born in 2011 or later receive a free multi-day pass valid for 4 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). This offer is subject to at least one parent purchasing a multi-day pass valid for 4 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling than adults, or if the promotion conditions are not met, a suitable lift pass must be purchased on site.
