Location

The family-run farm hotel die Unterbergerin in Gastein is situated in a quiet location in the Unterberg district. The nearest shops and the entrance to the ski area (Dorfgastein-Großarltal) are around 3 km away in the nearby village of Dorfgastein. The ski bus stops directly at the house. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can reach a cross-country ski trail around 500 metres away and the Schlossalmbahn toboggan run is approx. 12 km away.

Facilities

The general facilities of the accommodation include Wi-Fi and a ski cellar with ski boot dryer. In the guesthouse itself there is a breakfast room, a farmhouse parlour and a children's playroom. There are parking spaces at the house (1 x per apartment/room included, others for a fee) and a charging station for electric cars can be used for a fee and subject to availability.

On site, you receive free daily admission to the Alpentherme Gastein, where you can enjoy various themed worlds on around 32,000 m² (in Bad Hofgastein, approx. 11 km away).

Board

Depending on the room type or board option booked, breakfast or no board is included in the holiday price. The breakfast option includes an extensive breakfast buffet with regional foods. Gluten-free or lactose-free food is available on request.
Apartment guests can book breakfast, a breakfast basket or a bread roll service on site for a fee (on request). You can either have breakfast in the guesthouse or pick up the breakfast basket and have breakfast in your apartment (allocation on site, depending on occupancy/availability in the guesthouse).

Important notes

  • Please complete the mandatory online check-in at least 3 days before arrival using the link provided on your travel documents.
  • No lift pass voucher will be issued for children aged 5 or under, they travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents on the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area and the Rauchleiten platter lift. If your child uses the lifts independently, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
