Ski area Brandnertal - Brand/Bürserberg

With the Montafon Brandnertal WildPass, you can experience unlimited skiing fun in one of Vorarlberg's most diverse ski regions. Six fantastic winter sports areas (Silvretta Montafon, Gargellen, Golm, Silvretta Bielerhöhe - Partenen, Brandnertal - Brand/Bürserberg and Kristberg - Silbertal) are just waiting to be discovered. In total, an incredible 296 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes (including 52 km of ski routes) and 77 modern lift systems are at your disposal.

The Brandnertal lifts are considered a real Vorarlberg ski jewel and are part of the Montafon Brandnertal ski association. The two charming mountain villages of Brand and Bürserberg are connected by a spectacular panoramic aerial tramway at around 1,700 metres. The perfect stop to enjoy the diversity of the ski area in a relaxed manner.
The Brandnertal lifts offer approx. 64 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes (including ski routes), which are ideal for families, connoisseurs and anyone who likes to take their turns in peace and quiet, especially with their easy to intermediate descent levels. Comfort is a top priority: chairlifts and gondola lifts take you quickly and comfortably to the most beautiful descents and huts. A total of 3 descents with an altitude difference of 1,000 metres await you in the Brandnertal ski area.

From winter 2025/26, the new Loischkopfbahn in Bürserberg will provide even more comfort and fun in the snow. The modern lift replaces the old "Einhornbahn II and Loischkopfbahn" chair lifts and takes winter sports enthusiasts to the heart of the piste even faster and more comfortably - with a fantastic view of the snow-covered mountains.

Away from the piste, variety is also a top priority in Brandnertal: Experience sporting adventures on a ski tour on the signposted ski touring routes, or take advantage of the popular ski touring evenings in the Bürserberg and Palüd areas. Night tobogganing on the perfectly groomed "Eggen" toboggan run and the trendy Snooc - an ingenious mix of skiing and tobogganing that you can hire from the Dorfbahn cable car in Brand - also provide fast-paced winter fun without skis.

A highlight for families is Brandolin's Fuchspark, the publicly accessible children's area in the Palüd ski area. Here, experts can practise their first turns in a playful way. A conveyor belt and a t-bar lift, child-friendly descents and lovingly designed figures make learning to ski a real pleasure. The public "WISBI" (Wie schnell bin ich-Strecke) timekeeping course is also located here, where fun is guaranteed for the whole family and the question of who will be the next ski star of the family is finally answered.

Freestylers take note: The Backyards Snowpark has been waiting for you in the Eggen ski area at the Tannleger lift since last year! Rails, boxes and varied kicker lines offer the best conditions for beginners and pros who want to improve their skills. The snowpark is perfectly integrated into the terrain and is a real must-visit for anyone looking for action and style in the snow. The Fun Run is also located close to the Backyards Snowpark. With banked turns, wave runs and some cool obstacles - such as a xylophone - children and adults can experience a fun descent.

Après ski Brandnertal - Brand/Bürserberg

Après ski fans can be found in Brandnertal, especially in the numerous pubs in Brand - the offer ranges from folk live music to beats from the turntable. Those who prefer a more sporty approach can explore the numerous winter hiking trails - past the mysterious stone circles or up to the Tschegla high plateau. At Alpe Rona, hikers can not only take a break with fresh alpine produce, but also watch the dairyman making cheese. Speedy toboggan rides are not only possible on the 1.4 km long toboggan run in Bürserberg itself. There are a total of four toboggan runs spread across the Brandnertal - the longest is the Schattenlagant toboggan run in Brand at almost 10 km. Night tobogganing is also offered in Brand and Bürserberg on Tuesdays and Fridays. More detailed information is available on site.

But if you really want to experience something special, there are two real highlights on offer. Firstly, there are the 17 huskies owned by Anton Kuttner, alias "Husky Toni", who takes his guests on snowshoe hikes with the dogs or on sleigh rides. Children are trained to become little sledge drivers in the sledge dog driving school. Things get even more adventurous with a climbing experience in a class of its own: in the Flurschrofa ice climbing area, you have to conquer an icy waterfall.

Snowpark Brandnertal - Brand/Bürserberg: Snowpark Backyards

The "Backyards" snowpark in Brandnertal is one of the longest fun parks in Vorarlberg with three areas: the Trashyard, the Woodyard and the Boneyard. The Boneyard forms the centrepiece of the park and is particularly suitable for professional freestylers. They can perform their most adventurous tricks on a 15-metre table kicker, two 12-metre scooters, two jiblines and a large wall.

The Trashyard (two lines with three obstacles each) is designed in the look of a big city backyard, as befits its name: In addition to the standard rails and boxes, there are "trash obstacles" such as oil drums, car tyres and rusty pipes.

In the Woodyard, the standard obstacles are complemented by sliding tree trunks and a wooden wall. The park can be reached via the Palüd 8-seater gondola lift.
