Location and facilities

The welcoming 4-star superior Alpinresort Schillerkopf is situated on a sunny, high-altitude plateau above Bürserberg and is only about 100 m away from the "Tschengla-Bürserberg" chair lift. When snow conditions allow it, you can ski back down the hotel. The centre of Bürserberg is about 3.5 km away, the Bürs Shopping Centre can be reached after about 8 km, and a cross-country trail can be accessed after about 500 m. The "Brand" (approx. 7 km) and "Bürs" (approx. 8 km) ski lifts can be quickly reached thanks to the hotel's own shuttle (for a fee).

The traditionally-run hotel is furnished with a reception area, lift, lobby with fireplace and "Schillerkopf" media library, ski and boot room, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and terrace. Free parking spaces as well as covered parking spaces are also available to use.

The approx. 1,500 m² large spa area with indoor pool, steam bath, Finnish sauna, organic sauna, sanarium, infrared cabin, Kneipp basin and relaxation room can be enjoyed for free. There is also a small fitness room with treadmill, elliptical trainer and stationary bicycle. Treatments in the beauty centre as well as massages can be arranged for a fee.

Rooms

The rooms are furnished in a modern Alpine style and offer a shower/WC, cable TV, telephone, radio, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, safe and either a balcony or terrace. The suites also have a bedroom as well as a separate living/sleeping area.

Board

The already included half board consists of a welcome drink, a breakfast buffet with regional specialities as well as a 5-course evening meal with healthy, natural cuisine.

Important notes

  • Family-friendly offer: 28/03/2026 – 06/04/2026. When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2007 or later (ID required) receive a free multi-day pass. This offer is valid provided that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 5 or more days for the same period. No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 7 or under. For each adult lift pass purchased, one accompanying child in this age group will receive a free ticket for use of the lifts (ID required). If there are more children than adults travelling together or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • Access to the spa area is permitted to guests ages 18 and up.
  • Access to the indoor pool is only permitted to children ages 2 and up and only when accompanied by an adult.
