About 65 km of cross-country tracks run through the Wilder Kaiser, and due to their variety they suit every degree of difficulty. The widely spread network leads through sun-drenched valleys and offers access to the trails in St. Johann and Kitzbühel. Brixen has approx. 34 km of tacks available, mostly of intermediate difficulty. Especially recommendable is the high altitude track at Hochbrixen with 2.8 km length and which offers a magnificent panoramic view.
A further 10 km of trails await you in neighbouring Westendorf, which can be used in both classic and skating style. The floodlit trail in Scheffau is also a highlight. Enthusiastic cross-country skiers can do their laps here every day in winter until 22:00.
The neighbouring resorts Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten and Itter also offer fantastic trails in wonderful surroundings to enjoy the lovely scenery.
