Ski vacations Bludenz - a winter's dream at the Muttersberg!
Bludenz
Bludenz lies at an altitude of 587 metres and is the heart of the district of the same name in Vorarlberg. With its location, the "Alpine town" offers the best conditions for a varied holiday. The idyllic charm of the medieval mountain town permeates all its streets, and the traffic-calmed old town invites you to enjoy a relaxed shopping spree. Those seeking peace and quiet and families feel at home here – but above all active winter sports enthusiasts. In just five minutes, the cable car takes you directly from the town to the sunny balcony of Muttersberg (1,401 metres) with the Hoher Frassen mountain, which offers a breathtaking panorama. Thanks to the town's ideal location, you have convenient access to the ski areas in the Bludenz region, such as the Brandnertal, the Silvretta Montafon and the Sonnenkopf on the Arlberg. There is also plenty to discover away from the slopes. Go on a hike on one of the numerous winter hiking trails, enjoy the cosy refreshment stops, visit the VAL BLU Alpine adventure pool or the Fohren Center Bludenz with bowling, bars and laser fun.
Alpine City Bludenz
The district Bludenz with the homonymous capital is the heart of the five-valleys region Vorarlberg. This pretty, forested holiday region also counts the neighbouring Walgau and the Brander Valley to its hotspots, besides this Alpine City Bludenz. Also not far away and hence providing for a great day trip destination are the Montafon in the South, the Klostertal in the East and the Große Walsertal in the North. The region between Feldkirch and the Arlberg is relatively densely populated and therefore rich in culture and tradition, and also tourism leisure options. In the five valleys, you will find unlimited skiing fun in 10 ski areas with over 78 lifts and further, a unique combination of nature and city culture.Travel Bludenz
