Location and facilities
The lovely, family-run and 3-star Hotel Der Salzburgerhof is situated in the middle of pedestrian area in Bad Hofgastein, with cafes, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. A ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel (approx. 20 metres) and takes you to the Schlossalm lift, located approx. 1 km away. A cross-country trail and the popular "Alpentherme Gastein" can be reached within approx. 300 m.The typically Salzburg-style hotel's facilities include a small lobby area with reception and safe, elevator, Wi-Fi, TV-room, reading- and common room with Xbox and PlayStation, breakfast room, the "DasFRANZ" restaurant, wine lounge, heated outdoor smoking lounge, a terrace that remains open in the winter, as well as a ski room with boot dryers. Parking spaces are available at the hotel if paid for locally.
Guests of the hotel also receive the Gastein Card which gives you attractive reductions for services in the Gastein valley (see information in resort).
In resort, you will receive a 5% discount for Restaurant Winkler in Bad Hofgastein, as well as a €10 discount (cannot be exchanged for cash) for massage and therapy treatments at "Kur- & Sporthotel Winkler" in Bad Hofgastein (subject to change, limited opening hours, prior reservation required, only upon display of voucher, received with your travel documents).

- The use of the lifts in Gastein Valley for children born in 2013 and after is free-of-charge. Should your child use the lifts independently in other Ski amadé areas, a mini card (lift pass) will have to be purchased locally.
