Not only beginners and pleasure skiers, but also advanced skiers and freeriders will find a diverse offer of pistes. The "Gaudi-pistes" offer special fun on a slalom run with timekeeping, snow cross runs, a wavy run and mogule pistes. And for whomever this isn't enough fun yet can get their kick when night skiing at the Ötscherlift.
Beginners will enjoy the broad, well-prepared pistes in order to try out their first moves on skis. Families with children know well that the ski region is perfectly equipped to cater their needs. Numerous offers for little skiers, several ski kindergartens and ski camps offer a lot of fun for children.
Both skiers and snowboarders can let off steam in the various fun parks. The Dachstein West snow park in the Russbach area is the largest and most diverse, and provides jumps, rails and tables. Free riders get their money worth in the Freesports Arena Krippenstein which is one of the hotspots in the free ride scene.
Right next to the piste at the Donnerkogelbahn valley station, you can also find "Fuxi's Childrens Club" with child-care service for children from 1 year. The children are watched by certified caretakers with knowledge of English (payable locally). Children can learn how to ski in Fuxi's Kinderland, where ski instructors and "Fuchsi" the mascot teach children how to ski and train their techniques in a playful manner.
The panorama ski circuit "Panoronda" with a total of 44 km of piste is a diverse experience on perfectly prepared and signposted pistes. Cosy huts and sun terraces are available for breaks and especially for enjoying the magnificent panorama view.

Night skiing Annaberg im Lammertal
In the ski area Dachstein West there is a possibility to extend the lift pass until night time. Nearby the Hornspitzbahn lift valley station, one night ski piste is illuminated in the evening. The valley run is marked a red piste and 1 km long. Here you can enjoy skiing fun after the lifts' official operation times. Within the extended opening hours, the floodlight is on from 18:30 - 20:30 and also illuminates neighbouring Brumsiland, so that even little skiers can enjoy the fun of night skiing. In the lower section, the Hornspitz umbrella bar invites to a stop. Those who are looking for the ultimate kick in terms of risk should take a look at the Snowpark Dachstein West: obstacles such as the 7 m long curved box and various medium kickers, a jib box, a pro kicker with 10 m table and a wallride provide the ultimate adrenaline kick. All this seems too daring to you? No problem, because there are beginner elements that allow for newcomers to discover weightlessness. Professional shapers guarantee first-class shred sessions. With the free Wi-Fi hotspot, you can also share new successes right away.
Those who first want to practice away from freestyle aces will find three places to go in the ski resort: the "Ötscher Kids Park" in Gosau, the "youngsters freestyle park" in Annaberg and the "Rookie Park" in Russbach. Small waves, steep turns, jumps, boxes and rails are ideal for practising on.
