Location

The cosy 4-star Genuss & Vitalhotel Moisl is located in the centre of Abtenau. The Karkogel ski area is approx. 1 km away and the Dachstein West ski area (Rußbach access point) is around 11 km away. The nearest ski bus stop is just 30 metres from the accommodation. Access to the cross-country ski trail is possible after approx. 800 m.

Facilities

The accommodation consists of a vitality and a spa wing, which are connected underground. The hotel is equipped with a reception, lift, lounge and Wi-Fi, bar, restaurant, nine-pin bowling alley, children's playroom, ski room, a charging station for electric cars and free parking (subject to availability).

The approx. 800 m² large and versatile spa area has a stone, eucalyptus steam and Finnish sauna, steam bath, indoor pool, hot tub, infrared cabin, Kneipp pool and a fitness room as well as a tea corner and early morning coffee. You will also receive a spa voucher worth €5 per full-paying guest/stay for spa treatments on arrival (see information on site).

You will also receive the Tennengau Plus Card on site, which entitles you to numerous discounts, for example on local tours, snowshoe or torchlight hikes, cross-country skiing courses or curling, or a free ride up and down the mountain on the Karkogel cable car (details of services subject to change, exact services according to information on site).

Board

Half-board PLUS is included in the holiday price. This includes a rich and regional breakfast buffet with champagne breakfast, homemade cakes in the afternoon and a snack buffet with soup, salad and spread. In the evening you are offered a 6-course menu of your choice (partly from the buffet) with salad buffet and cheese board. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and dietary dishes are also available on request. In the afternoon, you can also enjoy free teas, fresh spring water and Abtenau healing water in the Badewelt.

Important notes

  • Active Family promotion: 07/03/2026 - 06/04/2026 - When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2010 or afterwards (ID required) receive a free multi-day ticket. The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket of 5 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
