Ski area Grandvalira

The "Grandvalira" lift pass gives you access to 210 km of piste which are accessible by 71 lifts. Here you can look forward to the largest ski area in Europe outside the Alps, which came into being because of the interconnection of the ski areas of Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig and Soldeu/El Tarter.

El Tarter offers one of ski access points to the Grandvalira ski area. Located right at the large parking space in resort is a gondola and a chair lift, so that even beginners will find an easy way to access the ski area. From there you will also reach the ski areas of Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, Canillo and Grau Roig. All of this makes Grandvalira ski area extremely diverse. Children will find numerous opportunities to learn skiing in a fun way: at Kids Circus or Badaboom Circus children under 12 have more than 500 m to try out their first steps on skis. More experienced skiers will find several off-piste possibilities as well as a mogul piste course. Freestylers can look forward to the 1.3 km snow park "El Tater", and will be impressed by the FIS racing pistes and boardercross tracks which hosted the Alpine ski world cup in 2016.

The internet is accessible thanks to numerous Wi-Fi hotspots in the ski area. Since February 2019, you can also use your Grandvalira lift pass in the Ordino Acalís ski area, with 30 further kilometres of piste and 15 lifts.

Night skiing El Tarter

Those who have not had enough of freestyling after sunset can let off steam every Tuesday to Sunday from 15:00 - 21:00 in the illuminated Sunset Park Henrik Harlaut a little away from the main ski area. The snow park is not connected to the Grandvalira ski area but can easily reached by the valley street. The freestyle area has large floodlights and is located at the Peretol tow lift in El Peretol.

The approx. 1.5 km, illuminated piste "Tubs" can be found in Pas de la Casa by the 4-person chairlift "La Solana".

Après ski El Tarter

El Tarter might be a small village, but they clearly know how to party here! As soon as the lifts close, Restaurant L'Abarset opens its doors and arranges parties with well-known international DJs and artists throughout the whole season. L'Abarset is doubtless the most famous party spot in the entire region and is very popular in other resorts as well.

"Snowclub El Tarter by San Miguel" at the foot of the piste is also very popular and thus also well-frequented.

For those who long for a little more relaxation then a trip to the spa centre in Soldeu is worth it, or a shopping tour through the country's tax haven. A further highlight is the helicopter round trip, with its breathtaking views of the landscape. If you're feeling brave, there's also the opportunity to go heliskiing.

Snowpark: El Tarter Snowpark El Tarter

"El Tarter" snowpark has the longest section of modules in the Pyrenees, which even makes it one of the longest snowparks in Europe. The snowpark's length is 1.3 km. Apart from various obstacles and a kicker line, the Colifor Freestyle park crew offers a Freestyle Academy which is open daily. Like this, there is something for everyone.

Futhermore, two further funparks are available in Grandvalira ski area - one of which is the only night snowpark in Andorra: Sunset Park Henrik Harlot offers several lines with kickers and rails as well as a bag jump for bolt freestylers. It is illuminated by floodlight every Tuesday to Sunday evening from 15:00 - 21:00. Snowpark Xavi in Grau Roig offers jib elements and kickers.
