Ski region Ski Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal

Together with Oberstdorf, the southernmost municipality in Germany, the Austrian Kleinwalsertal forms a gorgeous ski region, whose 130 km of piste (7 km of ski route incl.) can be explored with the "Ski Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal" lift pass and especially enjoyed by families and beginners. That being said, practised winter sports fans will also find the best-prepared pistes, all reachable via 48 various lifts.

At the Nebelhorn, head up to an altitude of 2,224 m with the highest cable car in the Allgäu. When conditions allow it, you can take in a magnificent view from the mountain station of the expanding 400 peaks off in the distance between the Zugspitze and the Swiss Säntis. To top it all off, you can ride along the longest valley descent in Germany, from the Nebelhorn down into Oberstdorf. Family-friendly and great for beginners, the Söllereck area provides guests with easily navigable beginner to intermediate pistes. The Walmendinger Horn offers lovely, diverse runs for all skill levels. Those who prefer to keep their skis on after the sun goes down can continue their evening on one of the several illuminated pistes, some of which will promote an all-nighter with their snow and ice bars at the end of the runs. A special attraction is the two-country ski area of Fellhorn/Kanzelwand: You can actually travel on skis here from the Austrian Kleinwalsertal into the German Fellhorn ski arena!

Last but not least, all main stations of the Fellhorn and Kanzelwand lifts as well as all "Das Höchste Restaurant" provide you with free access to their Wi-Fi Hotspots.
