Ski area Grand Massif

In the ski area Grand Massif, no wishes are left unfulfilled with a total of 265 km of pistes comprising the connected areas Flaine, Samoens, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt Fer à Cheval, at altitudes between 700 and 2,561 m. The higher locations at the Lac de Gers, Grandes Platières and the Tête Pelouse are especially suitable for the more experienced. Beginners can enjoy the same area on the easier, blue pistes.

A special highlight is the 14 km long descent from Flaine to Sixt Fer á Cheval, offering a breath-taking view of the Mont Blanc and the surrounding nature park. With a bit of luck you might spy some ice climbers, testing their skills on the frozen waterfalls. A real challenge is the approx. 3 km long "Diamant Noir" with a difference in altitude of 890 m.

The snow park is reshaped twice per day and offers great practice opportunities for freeskiers and snowboarders. Those who still have not had enough of skiing in the evening can look forward to night skiing twice a week (only in peak season).
