Ski area Ski Juwel

Due to the interconnection of the ski areas Wildschönau and Alpachtal, accessible via the gondola, the lift pass "Ski Juwel" offers a total 109 km of piste including ski routes (for more sporty and daring riders up to 145 km of piste are possible). With this lift pass you have access to the ski areas Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl, Oberau, Thierbach, Schatzberg, as well as Kramsach, Reither Kogel and Wiedersberger Horn. This sums up to a total of 45 possible access points incl. conveyor belts, located between 650 and 2,025 m altitude! Various levels of difficulties ensure that beginner, as well as pros can really enjoy themselves here.

Another update will await skiers at Schatzberg in the 2017/18 winter season: the 4-person-gondola is modernised and turned into an 8-person gondola, offering more comfort and shorter waiting times.

Families and pleasure skiers will most enjoy Schatzberg and Reither Kogel, where the little one's are in good hands in Bodo's children's club! Since 2016/17 there is the new Eva-Maria Brem giant slalom racing track at Reither Kogel where you can measure your speed! Ambitious skiers can swing down the northern mountain side of the Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl, as well as speed through various deep powder snow areas and free rider areas with 16 km of marked ski routes.

Also those who love to ski under the stars can do so on the two illuminated pistes at Oberau. These various piste offers can be easily reached with complementary ski bus. For snowboard freaks there are various options to run riot: in the snow park at the Wiedersberger Horn, the fun park at Schatzberg and the Race'n'Board Arena in Niederau - all offering loads of fun and action!

Those, looking for some more diversity can upgrade the lift pass to the "Super Ski Card" (see Ski Region). You can access 23 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg, with 2,750 km of pistes, accessible via 937 lifts!

The ski area Ski Juwe is one of the best night ski areas in Austria. In Reith at Reither Kogel, skiing by night is possible on approx. 6 km of pistes. The lifts Reitherkogelbahn, Nordlift and the Brandachlift tow-lift are open for night skiing every Friday and Saturday from 18:30 - 21:15. On Tuesdays at the same time, the family piste is also illuminated for ski touring, the lifts, however, stay closed. Apart from the night ski area at Reither Kogel, you can also get ready for night skiing in Wildschönau nearbei Niederaus: The ski area Roggenbogen opens two large pistes with snowmaking systems every Wednesday and Thursday between 19:30 and 21:00 for night skiing or night tobogganing. The lift passes for night skiing can each be acquired in resort. Is the Ski Juwel ski area not right for you? Then have a look here instead: Ski areas Austria
