Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to one of the largest interconnected ski regions in Austria! On numerous occasions, SkiWelt has won prizes as one of the best ski areas in the world. 90 modern lifts, 284 km of piste (of which over 229 km can be covered with artificial snow) including 23 km of ski routes, as well as three snow parks offer unlimited skiing fun. Regardless if you are young or old, novice or professional – SkiWelt has something for everyone. In the ski area you can also find a night tobogganing run with a length of approx. 4.5 km.

The high-tech, 10-person gondola "Hartkaiser", built in 2015, takes you up to 1,530 m altitude. The cabin lift has heated seating and Wi-Fi, and replaces the previous "Hartkaiser" lift, now being one of the most modern lifts in the world. This also leads to modernisation of the actual lift stations. The mountain station was enlarged to include the new "Erlebnis Eldorado Hartkaiser" activity area, including e.g. a children's restaurant and activity ski school. The valley station includes a new sports shop, restaurant, apres ski bar, parking garage and a heated ski depot.

From the Hartkaiser you can directly access the rest of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. The 4.1 km valley run from Hartkaiser in particular promises unlimited piste fun, besides loads of other attractive runs. Cracks can test the black pistes, and ample deep snow areas are also available. The 77 ski huts in the ski area promise a real treat.

A fantastic experience in Austria's largest night ski area should not be missed: freshly prepared and lit pistes attract even locals who blend in with the visitors, everyone sweeping down the slopes together.

By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you get access to over 2 794 km of piste and 925 lifts in 25 ski regions (see Ski Region).

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers night skiing possibilities in three ski areas: in Söll, Brixen and Westendorf. The highlight regarding night skiing awaits you in SkiWelt Söll. Here you can look forward to Austia's largest night ski area! From Wednesday to Saturday, a total of 10 km prepared pistes are available until night-time. The five descents in the area nearby the Hochsöll gondola as well as the chairlifts Keat and Hexen6er are illuminated by flood-light until 21:30 in the evening. Apart from all those slopes, the fun area "Hans im Glück" at the 4-person chair lift is illuminated for night-time skiing fun. Night skiing in Söll is extraordinary and so extensive that a special lift pass has to be acquired in order to use the offer.

Apart from this exceptional offer, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental has two further night skiing areas: The 500 m beginner's area at the 4-person chairlift in Westendorf is illuminated every Tuesday until 21:00. In Brixen, the 300 m blue night ski piste at Schusterbühel lift is available until 19:00 in the evening.
