Ski area Rangger Köpfl

With the lift pass "Rangger Köpfl" you have access to 17 km of pistes, which stretch over a difference in altitude of 1,200 m. The small and family-friendly ski area is located approx. 15 km western of Innsbruck. Highly recommended is the impressive and scenic 9 km long valley run from Rangger Köpfl to Stiglreith. Easy to medium-level pistes that are always superbly prepared appeal to all skiers who are not yet entirely sure on their skis. If your legs still support you in the evening, you can get your skis back on for some night skiing on the well-lit piste twice per week.

Families profit from the relatively flat pistes, and the first turns can be practised in the "Kids Park" at the Rangger Köpfl with a magic carpet. Snowboarders will also get their money's worth in the fun park with a half-pipe.

For some skiers, night skiing is a special experience, and many ski areas in Austria open up their illuminated pistes in at night. Oberperfuss also offers the opportunity to use the ski area in the evening. At Rangger Köpfl, there are 2.5 km of night ski pistes. The 8-person gondla "Peter Anich" takes you to the mountain station on Stiglreith (1,400 m), and from there you can take the Sulzstich lift up to an altitude of 1,650 m. From here, the valley run down to Oberperfuss is illuminated for night skiing. The operation times are Tuesdays and Fridays from 18:30 to 21:20 until the beginning of March. Not only skiers will get their money's worth: night tobogganing is also available at Rangger Köpfl. Is the Rangger Köpfl ski area not right for you? Then have a look here instead: Ski areas Austria
