Ski area Schladming-Dachstein

With the lift pass "Ski amadé" you have the possibility to ski 860 km of piste by using 270 lifts (see ski region).

Schladming, the centre of the Dachstein-Tauern region, belongs to the largest ski destination in Austria and is known far and wide as the host for of the Alpine Ski World Championship, and many further international world cup races. 218 km of piste and 80 ski lifts offer diverse ski entertainment in front of the wonderful backdrop of the Dachstein (2,700 m).

With the Dachstein Glacier the ski area is especially snow-sure. On the glacier there is the 18 km long, challenging run "Edelgrieß" which covers an altitude difference of 1,500 m. On the 3 km long illuminated piste at Hochwurzen, skiing can be enjoyed into the evening hours. Various deep powder snow areas and snow parks (e.g. on the Dachstein Glacier) are great for boarders and freeriders, while fans of Nordic skiing can use the varied cross-country trail network with trails of various levels of difficulty.

With the lifts in Schladming you can easily access the 4-mountain connection and can comfortably commute between Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The family and children's offers is also attractive. Beginners will find ideal conditions at the Höfi-Express. "Alpine night owls" can continue skiing into the late hours from Mondays to Saturday at the Hochwurzen, when the 3 km floodlight piste is opened. Also for the 2017/2018 winter season, the "Nightrace" (23/01/2018) will be a classic event set to take place in Schladming again.

If you want to review your day on the piste you can log on to Skiline with your ski pass number and see your used services such as used lifts, the amount of kilometres you skied or how many metres in height you passed.
