Ski area Silvretta Montafon

The lift pass "Montafon-Brandnertal" gives you access to 297 km of piste (incl. 62 ski routes) and a large selection of pistes for every level of skill (s. ski region).

The two lifts "Versettla" and "Valisera", as well as the two-person chair lift "Garfrescha" transport you easily into the ski area Silvretta Montafon. Silvretta Montafon was created in 2008, through the merger of the ski areas Silvretta Nova on the western valley side in St. Gallenkrich, Gaschurn and the Hochjoch on the eastern valley side in Schruns, Silbertal. It has been awarded for its quality on various occasions and offers excellent skiing on a total of 140 km of piste (incl. ski routes) - therefore being the largest ski area in the Montafon. Ideal piste conditions and high reliability for snow make a holiday here a real highlight.

Thanks to the varied distribution of blue, red and black pistes, there is great selection for every skill level: beginners can enjoy an easy descent along the longest piste of the area, from the Schwarzköpfle, via the Valisera Valley, right down to St. Gallenkirch, on a length of 14 km, covering a total difference in altitude of 1,400 m. Families with kids will also get their money's worth. Children's areas with magic carpets can be found all over ski area, so that kids can learn how to ski in a playful manner. The 2 km long "Piste 44" however, is only recommendable for pros.

Secured deep powder snow and freeride areas, away from the prepared pistes, provide for some diversity and the snowpark at the Fredakopf lift, with its 60 obstacles, will let all freestylers' hearts beat faster.

The ski area Silvretta Montafon is especially suited for freeriders and pros. Action-lovers should not miss the seven steepest pistes - known as the Black Scorpions - which are surely not for riders with weak nerves. Be prepared for some wobbly knees!
