Ski area Zettersfeld/Hochstein

With the lift pass "SkiHit" you have access to eight different ski areas: Großglockner Resort, Brunnalm/Defereggental, Silian/Hochpustertal, Kartitsch, Lienz, Obertilliach, Mölltaler Gletscher, and Ankogel (see ski region).

The connection between the ski areas Matrei and Kals is known as the Großglockner Resort (920 - 2,621 m) with 37 km of piste and 14 lifts, making it the largest in Eastern Tyrol. From Matrei (approx. 27 km) you have easy access to this area.

But also the two local ski areas of Lienz, Hochstein and Zettersfeld (668 - 2,278 m), provide family-friendly skiing on 16 or 24 km of pistes and are also easily accessible from the resort centre of Lienz. Numerous diverse descents for beginners and ambitious skiers provide great moments in front of a magnificent backdrop of the Lienz Dolomites.

Snowboarders and freestylers can run riot in the "Sunsitepark" in Zettersfeld with tables, slides and jumps. And if you need a bit more diversity, just go out and explore the other ski areas within the region and enjoy the unique piste offers and the wonderful mountain panorama.
