Location and facilities
The welcoming 4-star Hotel Alpina is composed of a main building and side building ("Tauernblick"), which is located about 30 m away. The accommodation is situated in a quiet, sunny location, around 300 m away from both the resort centre as well as the nearest cross-country trail. The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes guests to the approx. 400 m distant "Schloßalmbergbahn" lift.General facilities include a lounge, dining room, lift, Wi-Fi, ski and boot room as well as a parlour with hotel bar. Furthermore, a spacious spa area with thermal indoor pool and Kneipp path invites you to relax. Guests staying in the main building also have access to a sauna and steam bath. For a fee, you can also book massages. Free parking spaces as well as a fee-based garage can be used where available.
Rooms
The comfortable rooms are furnished with a bathtub or shower/WC, TV, telephone, safe and sometimes a balcony or terrace (depending on the type of room booked). Allocation takes place in the main building.Board
The already included half board PLUS consists of an extensive breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack and a 4-course evening meal with choice (sometimes with appetiser/salad/dessert buffet). The hotel also regularly organises themed evenings, and once a sweek, a cocktail or mulled wine evening is offered. Important notes
- Access to the spa area is only permitted to children aged 12 and under if accompanied by an adult.
- Pets are not allowed in the dining room and the spa area.
- Children up to and incl. 5 years may use the lifts in Gasteinertal for free. Should your child be using the lifts independently in other Ski amadé areas, a Minicard (lift pass) has to be acquired locally.
- In case you have booked equipment hire through us, the hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 8 km).
