Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental
With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to Austria's largest connected ski region! On various occasions the SkiWelt was voted to one of the best ski areas worldwide by the platform "Skiresort Service International", and during the winter season 13/14 it was additionally granted an award as one of the top ski areas! 91 modern gondolas, 279 km of prepared piste (of which 225 km can be covered in artificial snow), some with flood-lights, as well as the "Kaiserpark" at Hartkaiser with quarter-pipe, slides and boardercross guarantee unlimited fun. Hopfgarten is connected to the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser via the local mountain Hohe Salve. An 8-person cable car takes you comfortably up 1,200 m to the mid-mountain station, where the fun begins.
The 3.5 km long valley descent to Itter via Hohe Salve awaits skiers with stamina and good condition. The Salvista descent caters for free-riders, and boarders can let loose at the snow park Söll with tables, kicker, and rails. Westendorf and Ellmau also have snow parks with quarter-pipe and other challenging features. Real enjoyment is to be had here with 70 places to relax, have a drink and perhaps a bite to eat.
