Ski area Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi
Beginners will find suitable, soft pistes around St. Ulrich and Wolkenstein, as well as between Sellajoch and Piz Sella. The more experienced will rather be drawn to the World Cup mountain "Ciampinoi" (2,254 m) with various black runs and he renowned "Saslong" with 3.5 km length. The slalom piste at Puflatsch is known as the most difficult piste with a total difference in altitude over 250 m - a must for all the cracks! In the snow parks boarders will feel right at home, and a good number of deep powder snow areas attract freeriders. Access via St. Ulrich and Alpe di Siusi rounds off the perfect connectivity and provides additional fun in the snow.
More diversity can be experienced with the "Dolomiti Superskipass", with which you can even access 1,200 km of piste in 12 different areas, including the Sella Ronda - the spectacular round trip in one day of the Sella massif! The Sella Ronda access point can be found in Wolkenstein.
At all important hubs in the "Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi" ski area, you have access to free-of-charge Wi-Fi hotspots. At many mountain railway stations and in many restaurants in the "Dolomiti Superski" ski areas, free-of-charge Wi-Fi hotspots are available.
The ski area Gröden/Val Garna is especially known for its multitude of high Alpine restaurants and rest stations. Numerous mountain huts, such as the Comici hut, the Gamsblut hut or Fienile Monte can be found in the ski area on and next to the pistes and offer dishes of good quality.
