Ski area Val di Fiemme-Obereggen
Beginners can test their skills on the sunny southern slopes of the Alpe Luisa. Pros can challenge the steep slopes of the Olimpia at the Alpe Cermis, just above Calvalese - here there is difference in altitude of 1,390 m, over a distance of 7.5 km leading down into the valley. For families the soft and manageable slopes of Lavazé-Oclini are ideal. Together with the Jochgrimm and Lavazé they form a quaint ski area. The 1.5 km long floodlight piste can be taken advantage of until late in the evening.
Snowboarders will also find what they are looking for in the Val di Fiemme, and can power out in the snow park at the Ski Centre Latemar which offers tables, rails, jumps and a 80 m long half-pipe. Furthermore, the snow-sure winter sports paradise is also great for free riders to get a good boost of action. The individual resorts in the Val di Fiemme are connected by a ski bus.
The combined lift "Laner" with 6-person chairlift and 8-person cabin lift at Ski Center Latemar is new in 2016/17. It also gives you easy access to the new, approx. 750 m long toboggan run. A new mountain hut made of wood and glass with panoramic terrace and bar also opened at the Oberholz lift in December 2016 and invites you to take a break. In Alpe Cermis the children's area "Cermislandia" got a new toboggan and a new tubby rail as well as a new practise area for the ski school. After a long day on skis you can warm up and make yourself comfortable at the modern lounge-bar "La Baita Tonda".
