Ski area Skiworld Ahrntal

With the lift pass "Skiworld Ahrntal" you have access to the three ski areas Klausberg, Speikboden, Weißenach and Rein. At an altitude of 950 to 2,510 m and a total of 78 km of piste, skiing fans really get their money's worth here. Modern snow machines guarantee snow security from November until Easter and the perfectly prepared pistes make for pure fun on the skis. In Rein itself there are three lifts which gives you access to 4 km of pistes.

In the ski area Speikboden you have 40 km of piste on mostly gentle slopes, where beginners will feel especially comfortable. One of the attractions in this ski area is the modern gondola Speikboden, which crosses 900 m, going up 2,000 m in altitude in only eight minutes time. What is particularly astonishing is that it actually goes round a curve. At the middle station you then have to change over to a chair lift that takes you up to 2,250 m altitude. Directly next to the Seenock piste you can find a funpark ensuring there's something for the adrenaline kick.

The little ones will enjoy the Kinderland at the valley station of the ski area Klausberg, which measure 33 km of piste. The so-called "Klausiland" offers many highlights for children: a magic carpet called "Klausi-Express", the snow igloo called "Klausi-Burg", as well as slides and slalom courses. But there's even more: the unique and brand new "Dino Fun-Line" is a fun course with whoops, steep curves and little boxes surrounded by ten life-size dinosaurs, e.g. Tyrannosaurus Rex. In the snowpark by the K2 valley station, freestylers can have a go, and also the more difficult pistes "Hühnerspiel" and "Hexenschuss" make for fun and action. The longest run is approx. 8 km and covers 1,460 m in altitude difference. It can be found at the Klausberg K2. The prettiest carving slope can be found at the Sonnen lift. Off-piste, deep powder fans will get their money's worth.

When booking with a "Combination ticket Plan de Corones" that is valid for five days or more, you can ski for one day at the Plan de Corones. This way, you could, for example, ski for five days in Tauferer Ahrn Valley and one day at the Plan de Corones when booking with a 6-day lift pass. The day at Plan de Corones is free to choose within the validity period of the lift pass, however, it is not possible to use the day at Plan de Corones and in Tauferer Ahrn Valley on the same day.

Wi-Fi is available for free in many parts of the ski areas.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

In order to ensure safety on the ski pistes in Italy, new safety regulations will come into force from 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Molini di Tures

The pistes in and around the ski resort Molini di Tures can also be used by night time, as the piste is open for longer than usual twice per week. Like this, you can enjoy night skiing on the illuminated piste in the Skiworld Ahrntal Alpinwelt. The brightly illuminated pistes are freshly prepared for night skiing, and the floodlit toboggan run can also be used until after dark. The pistes in the night ski area Alpinwelt are illuminated with modern LED lights, so that night skiing is both energy-saving and eco-friendly.

Après ski Molini di Tures

After a long day on the pistes, there's something to do for everyone in Molini di Tures. You could have a relaxed evening and enjoy the local or international specialities served in the restaurants. Afterwards, the discos in Sand in Taufers call for après ski parties, e.g. the "Pik-Club" or the "Almdiele". In Klausberg, "Ochsenblut" is also worth a visit.

Then there are toboggan runs for a little more speed: the 5 km long run at Klausberg is even lit up in the evenings in parts. A speedy 7 km thrill can be had at the run from Speikboden to Weißenbach. You have the waterfalls of the Reintal where you can do ice-climbing. Another highlight is the Alpine Coaster "Klausberg Flitzer" at the Klausberg mountain. This toboggan/bob sleigh run is Italy's longest "Alps rollercoaster" and provides fun for young and old. You can determine your own speed, going up to 40 km/h. Each lift pass includes one free ride!

The close-by Castle Taufers is one of the most beautiful in all of Tyrol and definitely worth a visit!

Snowpark: Snowpark Funtaklaus Molini di Tures

Directly by the cabin lift "K2" at Klausberg mountain can you find the snowpark "Funtaklaus". It offers corners, a Big Air kicker and tables of up to 17 m height as well as several rails and boxes, welcoming beginners and pros alike. The park has been redesigned only this year. The new make-up has even been praised by Olympic champion Joss Christensen.

The ski area Speikboden also has a snowpark on offer. It is divided into an easy and a medium line. Beginners can practise on kickers and boxes here while intermediates and pros will find higher kickers with up to 14 m high tables, not to mention the rails and boxes. The park is 700 m long.
