Location and facilities
The cosy, 3-star Apartmenthotel Harz (formerly "Hotel & Holiday Apartments Friedrich") are located in an idyllic and quiet spot, close to the forest, only approx. 300 m from the centre of Friedrichsbrunn and approx. 9 km from the centre of Thale. Just around 500 m from the hotel, you can find an access point to the next cross-country trail network, The ski area Wurmberg Braunlage can be reached within approx. 40 km.The accommodation's facilities include a reception, lift, restaurant and playroom for children. Free-of-charge parking spaces at the main building (upon availability).
The sauna, as well as the relaxation area with showers can be used for free between (opening hours as per info in resort).
In the approx. 50 m distant side building, there is riding stable with miniature horses, ponies and a donkey, which can be visited (riding is possible, weather-dependent, payable locally).
