Ski area Region Berchtesgaden

The "Region Berchtesgaden" offers its guests six ski areas, which are combined in the same lift pass: approx. 49 kilometres of piste between 630 m - 1,800 m and 24 lifts can be used to your heart's desire.

The cosy pistes at Hochschwarzeck are ideal for families. Floodlight fans can enjoy the evening hours at Obersalzberg, Götschen and Rossfeld! The 6 km long valley run from Rossfeld to Oberau is perfect for beginners (only accessible with adequate snow conditions).

The boarder scene meets at Götschen, where you will find a boarder park with a 120 m long half-pipe. This ski area enjoys an international reputation due to its world cup runs, and as a popular host for winter sports championships in the luge, bob sledding and snowboarding! The ski area Zinken allows you to ski in neighbouring Austria. With the lift pass you can access one ski area per day.

In a lot of locations at the resort, you have free-of-charge access to Wi-Fi hotspots, provided by Kabel Deutschland.

Please note: Due to extensive renovations, the Jenner ski area is closed for the season from 05/03/2017. The renovation works will presumably last until the end of the winter season 2017/2018.

Many skiers in Germany are interested in skiing at night time, when some ski areas illuminate selected pistes for night skiing. On special dates, various night ski areas are also in operation in the region of Berchtesgaden. For example, the ski area Rossfeld opens its approx. 1 km piste at the Großer-Lift towlift every Wednesday from 18:00 - 21:00. In the ski are Götschen, the night ski piste at the 3-person chairlift Götschenkopfbahn is available for night skiing every Friday between 18:00 and 21:30. Here, you can even enjoy night time skiing on a length of approx. 1.8 km illuminated piste. Additionally, the Ski Arena Obersalzberg opens up for night skiing every Thursday.
