Ski area Zell am See-Kaprun

With the "Zell am See-Kaprun" lift pass, you have access to approx. 138 kilometres of piste and over 49 modern lifts in the Schmittenhöhe and Maiskogel ski areas, as well as the glacier ski area on Kitzsteinhorn, which stretches up to 3,029 m.

The free ski bus brings you comfortably from Maishofen to the lifts in Zell am See. From there you can quickly reach the ski area with the CityXpress, the TrassXpress or the Schmittenhöhe lift. Both beginners and experts will feel right at home here: the Maiskogel ski area is especially suitable for families, with its large number of wide and blue pistes. At 7 km in length, the region's longest run is found at the Maiskogel.

The Kitzsteinhorn entices beginners and leisurely skiers in particular with its intermediate pistes. And yet a real challenge can be found at the "Black Mamba", with an incline of up to 63 %. Experts are generally drawn to the mogul pistes and the Schmittenhöhe, where the 4 km long "Trass"-descent is known as the most difficult in the entire ski area.

Free riders will have a blast on the free ski territory under the Sonnengrat lift. For snowboarders each of the three ski areas offers it's own fun park with tables, slides and jumps!

A special highlight in this ski area are the many free Wi-Fi hotspots it offers for all its visitors! Only a few easy steps are required to access the Internet and you can instantly supply your friends and family with your holiday news and photos.

With the lift pass extension Super Ski Card, you even have access to nearly 2,750 kilometres of piste and 937 lifts in 23 ski regions, e.g. the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski circus, the Kitzbühel - Kirchberg ski region or the Salzburger Sportwelt.

Austria has various night ski areas on offer, such as e.g nearby Bruck am Großglockner in the ski area Zell am See-Kaprun. At Ebenbergbahn lift in Zell am See, night skiing is possible every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On night ski days, the Ebenbergbahn stops operating at 15:00 for the day, so that you can use the approx. 1.5 km "Nightslope" from 18:30 - 21:00. What's special about the night skiing piste is the view of the illuminated houses of Zell am See. Free night skiing is possible with a valid several-day lift pass. Without a valid lift pass, the night pass can be acquired in resort. Is the Zell am See-Kaprun ski area not right for you? Then have a look here instead: Ski areas Austria
