Ski area 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena

The lift pass "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" gives you access to altogether about 171 km of piste and 61 lifts in the ski areas of Waidring, Winklmoosalm - Reit im Winkl, St. Johann in Tyrol/Oberndorf, Erpfendorf, Pillersee,/Buchensteinwand, Kirchdorf. Also the Heutal lift Unken and the lift Lofer/Almwelt is included in the lift pass.

The local ski area of Waidring, the "Steinplatte-Winklmoosalm", is located at 740 - 1,806 m altitude and offers unique panoramic views of the mountain landscape from all of its stations. A highlight since 2014 is the modern 6-person chair lift Kammerkör with a weather cover and heated seats, which ultimately replaces the 3-person chair lift.

On the Steinplatte, skiers' hearts beat faster: well prepared and wide pistes with a total length of 42 km, modern chairlifts and gondolas as well as a fun park for the necessary diversity are right at your doorstep. In addition to top-class snow conditions, the area offers one thing above all: plenty of sun! Since the ski region of Dreiländereck Tirol, Salzburg and Bavaria is situated on a high plateau, there are perfect preconditions for lots of snow, and icy pistes is a rare phenomenon. The majority of pistes are easy to intermediate, but the steep slopes under the Steinplatte make sure also experienced skiers get their full money's worth.

However, the surrounding ski areas, such as the family-friendly area on the Buchensteinwand. To those loving variety, we recommend upgrading to Super Ski Card. This lift pass is also valid in e.g. Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and Ski Juwel (Alpbachtal and Wildschönau). Boundless ski fun is offered in to altogether 22 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg, with 943 lifts and 2,780 km of piste!

Après ski Waidring (Steinplatte)

Waidring also has a lot to offer off-piste. Various apres ski bars as well as cosy huts invite you in to party after a long day on the slopes. Especially popular s the "Zardini's", located directly at the gondola station. If you prefer a quieter afternoon, you can also turn to the many local restaurants offering regional specialities.

The little ones can enjoy themselves on the toboggan run at Oberweissbach, which is 2 km long and illuminated in the evenings. At Brandtnerhof however, you can also speed down the mountain on snow tubes. A total of 100 km of hiking trails lead you the magnificent winter landscape on a slightly slower note. Or you can choose to take a seat on one of the horse-drawn carriages.

If you rather care to spend your time more quietly, you can take a tour to the indoor pool in St. Ulrich, or to the "Aubad" in Fieberbrunn. A visit to the Lamprechts caves in Weißbach is also worth the travel. It is the largest cave system within Europe.

Snowpark: Steinplatte Waidring (Steinplatte)

The "SnowPark Steinplatte" offers three different areas for all levels of skill. It's your first time in a funpark? No problem - the beginner line will perfectly prepare you for new challenges. First freestyle tricks can be practised on a dance floor, an elephant butter box, a wax butter box, and a flat/down butter box, as well as a mushroom jib and other obstacles.

Sounds too boring? Then there are medium and advanced areas for you! Every wish will be fulfilled - obstacles include the 3 m long wall ride spine, the 6 m long picknicker, various boxes, and the massive kickers with 7 - 11 m jumps. Pros also have access to the Schneestern signature jib with select jib elements, such as an industry pipe, tubes, and a wall ride for shred sessions deluxe.
