Ski area Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

"1 ticket, 3 regions, endless mountains" - with the included "Ski Alpin Card" winter sports enthusiasts have access to the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski circus as well as the ski area on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. And if this lift network is not big enough for you, we recommend upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" (see ski region). This opens up unlimited skiing pleasure in 22 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg on an incredible 2,750 kilometres of slopes!

From Saalfelden, skiers can reach Leogang in a few minutes for the lift entrance to the Skicircus. The slopes above the village are mainly blue and easy to ski. However, there is also a race course with timed runs and the Tarlack run, a black run for experts. There is a children's area for the little ones. The gondola lift takes you over the Asitz to the Glemmtal, where more beautiful carving runs, numerous mogul slopes, steep slopes and two floodlit slopes await you. Numerous snow-making facilities also ensure snow reliability. Wonderful freeriding opportunities can be found, for example, at Zwölferkogel-West and Schattberg-West and offer the best conditions for professionals.

For even more variety, the Asitzbahn takes you directly over the Asitz into the Glemmtal valley. There you will find wide carving runs, steep slopes, numerous mogul slopes and two floodlit slopes for every skill level. There is also a children's area for the little ones at the valley station. Daily supervision with ski lessons is also offered there. Those looking for a special challenge should try the slopes with perfect freeride opportunities such as "Schattberg Nord" and "Zwölferkogel Nord".

One of the numerous alpine pastures offers a break. Whether for a snack, a cold beer or a traditional break - everyone is well catered for here. The "AsitzBräu" on the summit of the Asitz is popular, for example. Those who want something fancier should stop at the Stockinggut Restaurant.

This diversity is once again proof of why the Skicircus is not one of the most popular ski resorts in the Alps for nothing, and why it is always evolving despite this status. For example, a direct lift connection to the ski area in Zell am See is planned for 2023. You already have the option of taking the ZellamseeXpress from Glemmtal up to the Schmittenhöhe in Zell. This gondola is easily accessible by bus connection between Viehhofen and Vorderglemm.

Night skiing Saalfelden

Night skiing is very common in Austria. Thus, there are many pistes which are still open after the usual operating hours. In the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Ski Circus ski area, the Schantei lift already offers the first opportunity for night skiing. The approx. 500 m long night ski run is illuminated several times a week for night skiing pleasure. Another floodlit piste for night skiing is located in Hinterglemm. The Unterschwarzach railway brings winter sports enthusiasts up to the access of the approx. 1.2 km long illuminated piste, which is also opened several times a week. The adjoining "Nightpark" also offers night owls the opportunity to try jumps at night.

Après ski Saalfelden

The winter sports region around Saalfelden has a lot more to offer besides a great range of slopes and classic après-ski. Therefore, snow lovers will definitely get their money's worth here! The diverse range of winter activities includes romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides on snow-covered winter trails, wonderful winter hikes with fantastic views, relaxing snowshoe hikes and ice skating on the Ritzensee lake, as well as exuberant toboggan rides on one of four toboggan runs!

Party lovers for whom the rather manageable party offer in Saalfelden is not enough should take a trip to Saalbach or Hinterglemm. There the night is guaranteed to turn into day! The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn has already been awarded for its terrific après-ski offer. Because in this scene, the Skicircus is way ahead: already during the day, numerous après-ski bars invite you to party, and from the afternoon on, the atmosphere in the top spots like the "Hinterhag Alm" and the "Goaßstall" can hardly be topped. If you also want to enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere in winter, the best conditions await you at the top station of the Asitzbahn at 1,763 metres above sea level in the "AsitzBräu".

In addition, the region hosts the "White Style", a mountain bike event on snow that is unique in the world! Every year in January, the best mountain bike freestylers meet here in idyllic Leogang to demonstrate their skills on jumps made of snow.

Those who would like to soar through the air a little themselves, independently of mountain biking, have the opportunity to learn the basics of ski jumping within a 2-day course in Saalfelden.

Snowpark: Nitro Snowpark Leogang Saalfelden

There are four fun parks in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski circus, including the "Nitro Snowpark Leogang" in Leogang, directly on the Asitz. It offers big airs, corners, a table with three jumps as well as different rails and boxes. This comprehensive offer provides optimal training opportunities for beginners and pros. The park also offers great conditions in the Jib Zone. This is the perfect introduction to freestyle, especially for newcomers.

And if you haven't had enough of spectacular tricks and jumps during the day, it's best to take advantage of the "Nightpark" at the Unterschwarzachbahn in Hinterglemm, which is also busy at night thanks to floodlights.

For beginners, there is also an "Easy Park" in Saalbach on the Bernkogel. This has three mini kickers and three beginner boxes.

In Fieberbrunn at the Streuböden middle station, beginners and advanced skiers will also find an "Easy Park" with two wave tracks, five kickers and four boxes.
