Ski area Marienberg

With the "Top Snow Card" you have access to a total of 10 ski areas with approx. 214 km of piste and 87 lifts, including e.g. Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the German side, and Biberwier, Leermoos, Ehrwald and Mittenwald on the Austrian side of the border (see ski region).

In the ski area Biberwier at Marienberg there are mainly easy to intermediate pistes available, which are ideal for families and beginners. Child-friendly lifts, the Biberland with it's mascot "Berny Biber" (a beaver) and the kids restaurant at the Sunnalm, round off the offer specially designed for children.

More experienced riders can challenge each other on the boardercross run with steep curves and obstacles, or can venture over to the approx. 2 km long ski route. With the free ski bus or the SnowExpress you can have easy and quick access to the surrounding ski areas.

Night skiing Biberwier

Holidaymakers in Biberwier can try out night skiing in the neighbouring ski area of Leermoos, where night skiing is possible every week. The small and family-friendly night ski area is located at the edge of the resort and can be reached by the 8-person gondola Familyjet. An approx. 500 m piste is illuminated by floodlight, and you can extend your fun day on skis once per week until the evening. During the extended operation times the blue piste is illuminated until 21:00. If you still have enough energy, you may even take part in torchlight skiing, where winter sports fans ski ski down the piste together with a ski instructor, all holding a torch or glow stick. Another night ski piste can be found in Tiroler Zugspitz Arena in the Berwangertal ski area.

Après ski Biberwier

Skiers and snowboarders can end their day with a drink in "Otto's Pistentreff", located directly at the valley station of the Marienberg lift.

Those looking for more apres ski action will find just that in the surrounding resorts. In Lermoos, for example, you can party at the "Holzstadl", "Saskia's Schirmbar", the "Juxbar" and the umbrella bar "Lahme Ente". Various bars and huts can also be found in Ehrwald and Berwang.

If you prefer sportive leisure time activities, you can explore the surroundings on the prepared winter hiking paths, a guided snow shoe hike or a romantic torch-lit hike. At the Grubigstein in Lermoos you will find the longest natural toboggan run of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena: the speedy descent goes on for 3.5 km. Ice skaters should visit the ice stadium Tiroler Zugspitz Arena in Ehrwald or the natural ice skating rink at the Lusspark in Lermoos.

Snowpark: Betterpark Snowpark, Snowpark by MINI Biberwier

In the approx. 4 km distant resort Ehrwald lies the professionally shaped "Bretterpark", centrally located in the ski area, right alongside the Klämmli piste. The park is reshaped on a daily basis. The Klämmli lift, which is the same length as the park, enables quick access to the lines. Various jumps (6 - 12 m), rails, boxes and much more, spread over 3 lines (small, medium and large) are perfect for beginners and pros alike.

The newly designed "Snowpark by MINI" runs under the motto "come out and play" and offers great practise areas for beginners and experienced riders. Obstacles, steep curves, rails, kicker and many further elements will provides loads of fun for freestylers.
