Ski vacations Davos - diverse alpine metropolis!

Davos

Davos is known as the highest located holiday, spa and congress city of Europe, as a Global Village and varied Alpine metropolis. The small but widely known Swiss town is located in the Canton of Grisons on an altitude of 1,500 m. The lively holiday resort offers wonderful, idyllic nature and a magnificent ski area which is especially well-known for its freeride possibilities.

The popular climatic spa and winter sports resort also delights its guests with the wonderful Davos Lake, attractive mountain railways up to 2,844 m and a modern sports centre. A large number of sporting events also attract many visitors every year. For example, Davos was and is the venue for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup and the international ice hockey Spengler Cup, as well as Switzerland's oldest ski race: the "Parsenn Derby". A wide range of activities for families, a colourful après-ski scene, wonderful recreational opportunities and the first-class culinary offer round off your unique holiday in Davos.

Davos-Klosters

In Switzerland's northeast, in the Prättigau, two popular winter sports resorts, well-known also beyond the borders, are to be found. Located in a narrow valley, both resorts are surrounded by 3,000 m high mountains. Not only an international ambience awaits you here, but also long traditions. Modern, but original at the same time - this is how the region Davos/Kloserts presents itself. In the area around the 2,844 m high Weissfluhgipfel you may also come across the one or the other VIP. With approx. 281 km of piste (incl. ski routes) the winter sports offers are ample for skiers and snowboarders. Nowhere else in Switzerland will you find more diversity between the city and the country than here. Hardly any other region allows you to let yourself fall into a so wonderful wintry landscape - come and see for yourself!
