The Lillehammer ski region, famous through the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, doesn't just shine with the Hafjell ski area (40 km of piste), but also with the neighbouring pistes of Kvitfjell (25 km of piste) and Skeikampen (21 km of piste), which are also part of the Olympic areal. In addition to the three largest ski areas, the "Lillehammer" lift pass also includes the smaller ski areas Gålå and Sjusjøen. With this, you have access to a total of 113 kilometres of piste and 43 lifts in 5 ski areas! The pistes at Hafjell are more laid-back, but in the lower area they're a bit steeper. Lovely, forest-lined runs and a fun park with half-pipe await you here, and cosy lodges directly on the piste invite you in for refreshment. Skeikampen is approx. 39 km from Lillehammer and offers ultra-modern facilities. In addition to buckle pistes, floodlit areas and a fun park, there are also many family-friendly runs. Kvitfjell's pistes were built especially for the Olympic Games and offer the most black runs. The men's Olympic run into the valley is quite challenging and the off-piste selection is great! Families and beginners will get their money's worth on the numerous blue pistes. Ski buses travel regularly between Lillehammer, Skeikampen and Hafjell, and trains regularly travel the 50 km from Lillehammer to Kvitfjell.
