Cross-country Karneid (Cornedo all'Isarco)

There's hardly a more beautiful scenery than for cross-country track than the peaks of the Dolomites regarded from Rosengarten and Latemar. The Eggental offers an approx. 100 km long trail network for skating and classical cross-country for all levels. If you don't want to go too far away, the district Karneid offers a sports centre with 5 km of trail. Only a few minutes drive down the road, the pretty round course Steinegg awaits guests with a panorama of the nature park Schlern-Rosengarten. Moreover, in Tesoro and at the Pellegrino pass there are 30 km each to be enjoyed and a further 25 km can be found in Deutschnofen. A little further South of the Eggental, the Lavazé pass waits up with some of the best Nordic opportunities of the region. The high plateau with its 1,808 m altitude and flat terrain has established itself as a favourite among cross-country fants. Here, approx. 80 km of trails can be found between South Tyrol and the Trentino.
