Ski area Bocksberg

The ski area "Bocksberg" offers idyllic descents with a total of 4.1 km length. The piste are especially suited for families with children, and pleasure skiers. The 6 lifts enable quick and easy access to all slopes of the Bocksberg. The little ones will enjoy themselves on the practise slope (200 m long) with a special children's lift, to help them get started on skis or snowboard.

The ski area offers some great descents with various levels of difficulties, as well as at the 1.5 km long toboggan run - the longest in the entire Harz. Modern snow canons ensure security for snow on the pistes, and the toboggan run is even illuminated in the evenings. The cosy Bocksberg hut is located directly at the lift station and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and some tasty specialities to regain strength.

Après ski Goslar Hahnenklee

Many snowy meadows and forests make up the perfect winter wonderland magic in Hahnenklee-Bockswiese. Spend the afternoons going on a winter hike through picturesque landscape of the Harz. The frozen pond in the Kurpark can be used for ice skating or curling. Visitors who are interested in some cultural input, can visit the Gustav-Adolf stave church in Hahnenklee, built according to it's Norwegian models. Or you can visit the ore mine in Rammelsberg, which is a museum today and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage list.

During the Advent weeks there is very pretty Christmas market in the approx. 16 km distant Golsar, situated in front of a romantic, historical backdrop. In the evenings, there are torch hikes or torch rides available. Or, just let the day come to cosy end in one of the many inns, and enjoy some tasty regional specialities.
