Ski area Region Berchtesgaden

The "Berchtesgaden Region" serves its guests with six ski areas, which are united in the ski pass of the same name: Around 44 kilometres of pistes between 630 and 1,800 m altitude, 28 lifts and the modernised Jennerbahn cable car can be skied to your heart's desire!

The cosy slopes at Hochschwarzeck are ideal for families. The 6-km long valley run (ascent to Rossfeld included 1 x p. day) to Oberau is also wonderfully suitable for beginners due to its easy level (can only be skied when there is sufficient snow). In the Jenner ski area in particular, skiers as well as tobogganists and hikers get their money's worth, as from the 23/24 winter season, the majority of the lifts can also be used by pedestrians. A ski route leads from the mountain station (1,800 m) to the middle station (1,200 m), from here there are groomed pistes down to the valley. The boarders' scene and all floodlight fans meet at Götschen, where the snow park is located and where a night skiing piste is available every Friday.

Thanks to their World Cup-suitable slopes, among other things, the ski areas around Königssee enjoy an international reputation as venues for world championships in snowboarding as well as in tobogganing and bobsleighing! And the Zinken ski area even offers you the chance to hit the slopes in neighbouring Austria.

In the village you have access to Wi-Fi hotspots in several areas.

In the Götschen ski area, for example, the night skiing piste on the Götschenkopfbahn 3-seater chairlift is open for night skiing on Fridays between 18:00 and 21:00.

Après ski Berchtesgaden

Not all après ski is typical! Along those lines, Berchtesgaden offers just the right thing for everyone: social evenings in a ski lodge are a great option, as are romantic evenings for two on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. You can party in the bars or let yourself be spoilt with excellent cuisine in local restaurants. Turn night into day in the discos!

In addition, numerous activities are offered such as winter and torchlight hikes as well as guided excursions through the beautiful landscape around the Watzmann. With the Berchtesgaden Region ski pass, you can also use the winding toboggan run on the Obersalzberg, which is easily accessible by cable car, free of charge (weather permitting). Reduced admission is available at the Watzmann Therme, where you can relax on 900 m² of water and with various treatments.
