Ski area Grand Massif

In the ski area Grand Massif, no wishes are left unfulfilled with a total of 265 km of pistes comprising the connected areas Flaine, Samoens, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt Fer à Cheval, at altitudes between 697 and 2,480 m. The higher locations at the Lac de Gers, Grandes Platières and the Tête Pelouse are especially suitable for the more experienced. Beginners can enjoy the same area on the easier, blue pistes.

A special highlight is the 14 km long descent from Flaine to Sixt Fer á Cheval, offering a breath-taking view of the Mont Blanc and the surrounding nature park. With a bit of luck you might spy some ice climbers, testing their skills on the frozen waterfalls. A real challenge is the approx. 3 km long "Diamant Noir" with a difference in altitude of 890 m.

The snow park is reshaped twice per day and offers great practice opportunities for freeskiers and snowboarders. Those who still have not had enough of skiing in the evening can look forward to night skiing twice a week (only in peak season).

Après ski Les Carroz d'Arâches

Après ski is quieter in Les Carroz d'Araches. There are many diverse, cosy restaurants and bars offering Savoyard cuisine. You can party the night through in "Le Club 74".

For those looking for more action after a day of skiing, a varied selection of activities is available. You can enjoy the mountain landscape while paragliding, ski down floodlit pistes, go tobogganing or ice skating, or wear yourself out ice climbing. Those looking for more speed shouldn't miss dog sledding or snow mobiling.

Snowpark: Ho5Park Snowpark Flaine Les Carroz d'Arâches

In the ski area Grand Massif the Ho5Park awaits all freestylers with a great variety of obstacles. In Flaine, located in the Aujon area, you can find the Jampark, as well as the new Forest Park. For beginners the blue line with kickers and boxes is a great starting point.

In the Forest Park all obstacles are made purely out of wood and perfectly blend into their surroundings. Especially freestylers will have a lot of fun here, as the kind and make of the elements offer a greater diversity than other regular parks. The expert line in the Jampark, with its red and black obstacles, is very well suited for for freestyle pros. Furthermore, there is a boardercross run, a quarterpipe, and of course a chill zone with amazing sound system.

Families, friends, and all fun seekers should visit the Acticross Parcour, which can be easily reached via the Petit Balacha lift. 2 supervisors will be available to help you improve your skills and to master the whoops, the slalom, or the super tunnel, while enjoying yourself immensely. At the Grand Massif there are more possibilities for all freestylers (beginner to pro) to run riot.
