Ski area 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena

The lift pass "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" allows you access to a total of approx. 171 kilometres of piste and 51 lifts. Apart from St. Johann in Tyrol/Oberndorf, the ski areas Erpfendorf, Pillersee/Buchensteinwald, Kirchdorf, Steinplatte Waidring, Winklsmoosalm - Reit im Winkl as well as the Heutal lifts Unken and the Lofer/Almwelt mountain railway are included in the lift pass.

The 40 kilometres of piste in St. Johann stretch from 659 m - 1,604 m in altitude and can be easily reached with 10 lifts. With the Bauernalmbahn lift in Oberndorf , which takes you comfortably to the Angeralm at 1,200 m, you have perfect access to the ski area.

Families and beginners will definitely get their money's worth here, due to the primarily easy to intermediate pistes. The ski area does offer something special for experienced skiers, though, like the black 3 km long Piste 7 (FIS-Abfahrt) run from Penzing to Oberndorf.

Those, looking for some more diversity can upgrade the lift pass to the Super Ski Card (see Ski Region). This is also valid in the ski areas Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, Schneewinkel and Ski Juwel (Alpbachtal - Wildschönau). You can access 21 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg, with 2,750 km of pistes, accessible via 926 lifts. Unlimited skiing fun!

Après ski Oberndorf

In addition to skiing in Oberndorf, you can take advantage of other athletic activities, spend a cosy evening or dance and party in one of the bars and ski lodges.

The natural lit tobogganing run, inviting you for some evening snow fun, is popular for young and old. Furthermore, you can take a horse carriage ride through the romantic snowy landscape, take part in a curling match or relax on a walk along the many winter hiking trails.

All night owls can head to St. Johann (approx. 5 km), where further bars and pubs can be found.

Snowpark: Snowpark St. Johann in Tirol Oberndorf

The extremely popular ski region of the Kitzbühel Alps, renowned for its snow guarantee, not only boasts beautiful slopes and runs for non-freestylers, but also has plenty in store for the risk takers among you. In the ski areas of the "3-Länder Freizeit-Arena" (3 country leisure time arena) there is a snowpark and two funslopes, one of them in St. Johann in Tirol. Various obstacles and boxes provide a lot of fun on the course.

The Steinplatte Snowpark in the Steinplatte ski area, which is approx. 20 km from Oberndorf, is situated in a sunny and central location directly on run 4 and fills the entire length of the adjacent 6-seater Kappelenbahn cable car. Four lines divided into three sections with different levels of difficulty (Fun-Easy-Medium-Pro) are waiting for you. Relaxed atmosphere, creative elements and a professionally prepared park that is professionally prepared every day make every freestyler's heart beat faster.
