Ski area Dachstein West

With the "Dachstein West" regional lift pass, you can enjoy a total of 131 kilometres of pistes in the Dachstein West ski area with Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg as well as the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein and the other areas of Feuerkogel, Karkogel, St. Martin, Lungötz and Dürrnberg. The 57 lifts will transport you to your desired piste without any problems. The small but beautiful Karkogel ski area in Abtenau with the David Twin and Alexandra Meissnitzer World Cup runs is right on your doorstep. The Postalm ski area, part of which still belongs to the village of Abtenau, can also be reached in just a few minutes.

The regional lift pass allows you to enjoy wonderful descents in various ski areas, which are connected by free ski buses. Beginners and leisure skiers in particular, as well as advanced skiers, will find a variety of pistes here. The fun slopes await with a slalom course including timekeeping, snowcross facilities, wave run and mogul slopes. If that's not enough fun for you, you're sure to get your money's worth with night skiing on the Ötscher lift.

Beginners will enjoy the broad, well-prepared pistes in order to try out their first moves on skis. Families with children know well that the ski region is perfectly equipped to cater their needs. Numerous offers for little skiers, several ski kindergartens and ski camps offer a lot of fun for children.

Both skiers and snowboarders can let off steam in the various fun parks. The Dachstein West snow park in the Russbach area is the largest and most diverse, and provides jumps, rails and tables. Free riders get their money worth in the Freesports Arena Krippenstein which is one of the hotspots in the free ride scene.

The panorama ski circuit "Panoronda" with a total of 44 km of piste is a diverse experience on perfectly prepared and signposted pistes. Cosy huts and sun terraces are available for breaks and especially for enjoying the magnificent panorama view.

Night skiing Annaberg im Lammertal

In the ski area Dachstein West there is a possibility to extend the lift pass until night time. Nearby the Hornspitzbahn lift valley station, one night ski piste is illuminated in the evening. The valley run is marked a red piste and 1 km long. Here you can enjoy skiing fun after the lifts' official operation times. Within the extended opening hours, the floodlight is on from 18:30 - 20:30 and also illuminates neighbouring Brumsiland, so that even little skiers can enjoy the fun of night skiing. In the lower section, the Hornspitz umbrella bar invites to a stop. Additional skiing fun can be found on the racing track at Hornspitz-Express as well as the Ötscher Kids Park with steep curves and a wavy track.

Après ski Annaberg im Lammertal

After a perfect time on the piste, Annaberg im Lammertal has various options to choose from when it comes to spending your leisure time. Families can look forward to curling or tobogganing, those looking for relaxation can wind down during a unhurried snow shoe hike or a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride on Joachimsberg.

Numerous alpine huts invite you take a break and pamper you with original Austrian cuisine. The whole region Dachstein West also offers a lot of action: paragliding, hang-gliding, snow biking and a lot of indoor sports opportunity promise a diverse holiday.

Snowpark: Snowpark Dachstein West Annaberg im Lammertal

The ski region "Dachstein West" has a total of four different fun parks ready and waiting and lets every freestyler get his money's worth!

Those who are looking for the ultimate kick in terms of risk should take a look at the Snowpark Dachstein West: obstacles such as the 7 m long curved box and various medium kickers, a jib box, a pro kicker with 10 m table and a wallride provide the ultimate adrenaline kick. All this seems too daring to you? No problem, because there are beginner elements that allow for newcomers to discover weightlessness. Professional shapers guarantee first-class shred sessions. With the free Wi-Fi hotspot, you can also share new successes right away.

Those who first want to practice away from freestyle aces will find three places to go in the ski resort: the "Ötscher Kids Park" in Gosau, the "youngsters freestyle park" in Annaberg and the "Rookie Park" in Russbach. Small waves, steep turns, jumps, boxes and rails are ideal for practising on.
